How to Use the Kraken Referral Code
- Sign up through our link Use the Claim bonus button on this page. It opens Kraken’s invite page with our code hr8jgyy3; if Kraken asks for a referral code, enter it there.
- Verify your identity Kraken’s referral rewards are for new accounts only. You need to complete identity verification with an ID from your country of residence, and live in a country where the promotion is available.
- Meet the conditions in time Kraken sets a window after sign-up in which you have to complete these steps.
- Trade You get 10% of your eligible trading fees back.
How the Kraken Cashback Works
The cashback is a percentage of the eligible net trading fees you pay, so it grows with how much you trade. If you pay 100 USD in eligible fees, 10% of that comes back to you.
- What counts: buying, selling and converting crypto, and trading on Kraken’s spot, margin and futures markets.
- What doesn’t: trades between fiat and stablecoins, trades between two stablecoins, bundles and equities.
- What the referrer sees: when you join through an invite, Kraken says the person who invited you can see the volume and fees of your trades, but not your name, balances or individual positions. You can change this in your account settings.
Kraken’s $10 Bitcoin Offer for US Users
Kraken’s separate welcome offer pays $10 in bitcoin to new US users who trade at least $10 of crypto on the spot market during the promotion. It runs on its own invite, so signing up through our cashback link doesn’t include it, and you can’t get both.
