Bitget and WEEX are both centralized crypto exchanges that cover spot trading, futures, copy trading and staking. The main difference is their focus: Bitget spreads across many features including tokenized stocks and a debit card, while WEEX keeps a tighter range but offers a far deeper spot coin selection and higher leverage.

Who should choose Bitget
Bitget suits traders who want more than plain crypto trading. It carries 3,092 tokenized stocks, offers loans, a debit card and trading bots, none of which WEEX provides. Its futures taker fee of 0.06% is lower than WEEX’s. KYC is required, which means identity verification before you trade, but that is standard for many. If you want a broad toolkit and the lower futures cost, Bitget fits.
Who should choose WEEX
WEEX suits traders who care most about coin choice and high leverage. Its spot selection of 2,060 coins is much larger than Bitget’s 507, and it offers 400x max leverage against Bitget’s 125x, which magnifies both gains and losses. KYC is optional, so you can start trading without full identity verification. It also lists slightly more futures coins. The trade-off is fewer extras and a higher futures taker fee of 0.08%.
Verdict
Pick Bitget if you want a wide range of tools, tokenized stocks and a lower futures taker fee. Pick WEEX if you want the widest spot coin selection, the highest leverage and optional KYC. Neither holds a MiCA licence.
